Point Cottages are a cluster of self-contained holiday retreats in a superb location just 40 yds from a magnificent sandy beach at Bamburgh, Northumberland. Each cottage has its own unique atmosphere and is named after a local historic place or person (use links to the left of the page to view each individually).

Situated next to a beautiful Golf Course on the edge of Bamburgh and only a short journey away from many other attractive links courses at Embleton, Foxton (Alnmouth) and Seahouses, each cottage enjoys an uninterrupted view of Bamburgh Castle.

Bamburgh is an unspoilt coastal village dominated by it's magnificent castle (regularly featured in many historical movies such as Macbeth and Beckett etc) and is an ideal base for visiting other parts of historic Northumbria. It is a haven for children, birdwatchers, walkers, fishermen, tired businessmen and harassed housewives! But don't just take our word for it, look for the comments from our  visitors book .

The cottages overlook the sea with fine views of the Farne Islands with its wildlife sanctuary and Lindisfarne or Holy Island as it is also known.  They share a large garden (half acre) with lawns and a total of 10 car parking spaces are provided (2 per cottage).

In excellent order throughout, all have an open fire or woodburning stove and are furnished to high standards (3 star rating - Good Holiday Cottage Guide). Each has its own special atmosphere and is warm and cosy with a deep sofa and armchairs, lots of natural wood country-style furniture and a well-equipped kitchen.
